Berozgaar Hyderabadi is a live snooker scoring website and Android app. This policy explains what we store, why, and what you can do about it. Last updated 30 September 2026.
Watching needs no account
Live scores, match results, player profiles, tournaments, clubs and records are public and can be viewed without signing in. We do not use advertising, analytics or tracking cookies, and we do not sell or share data with anyone.
Accounts (club admins and markers)
When you create an account we store:
- Your name and email, to sign you in and show club admins who is on their team.
- Your password, only as a one-way hash (argon2). Nobody, including us, can read it.
- A sign-in cookie (
bh_rt), which keeps you signed in. It is essential, cannot be read by scripts, and is removed when you sign out. - A record of what you did for your clubs (for example who scored or corrected a shot, and the IP address of admin actions), so scores can be checked and mistakes traced.
Players
Players do not sign in. A club creates a player profile with a display name (and optionally a home club), and the player's match results and statistics are public, like a sports scorecard. If you are a player and want your profile changed or removed, ask the club that created it.
Where data is kept
Data is stored on our own server and database, sent only over encrypted HTTPS connections, and backed up regularly. It is kept while your account exists.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account at any time from Delete account (also under Profile in the app). Your name, email and password are erased immediately and you are signed out everywhere. Match scores you recorded stay with the club, marked as "Deleted user", because they are part of other people's public results.
Children
Accounts are meant for club staff aged 13 or older.
Changes and contact
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes too.
